University of California, Irvine - Group Tours

Thank you for your interest in bringing your group to tour the University of California, Irvine! For the 2023-2024 academic year, we will be offering group tours on a limited basis and will only be able to offer tours on days posted on the calendar (select Mondays & Fridays). Group Tours

UCI offers group tours during the academic year running from October through June. Interested groups can register on a first-come, first-served basis for a tour.

For the 2023-2024 academic year, we are only able to provide guided tours to groups and schools ONCE per quarter in the hopes of welcoming as many unique groups as possible. Groups or schools that register for multiple dates in one quarter will have their dates canceled.

To be considered for a group visit, you must fit the following criteria:

Elementary, middle, or high school, community college, or community-based organization
Group visits must be arranged for any group larger than 10 guests
At this time, we can only accommodate groups of up to 90 guests. Larger groups will be directed to enjoy a self-guided tour of UCI
There should be at least one chaperone per 30 guests. No exceptions.

Registration Information

Reservations are required and must be completed online
- October - December dates will be released by the end of August
- January - March dates will be released by mid-December
- April - June dates will be released by mid-March
All available tour dates and times are posted given the timeframe shared above. If a date or time is missing, that means it is not available.
Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance.
Please complete the UCI Group Tour Contract to complete the registration process. This contract contains all our expectations for group visits. We reserve the right to deny future visit requests from groups that do not abide by our policies.
All reservation requests should be submitted by the school or community group. If you choose to use a tour company to schedule your visit, they must provide the name and phone number of a chaperone who will be attending with the group.

Important Reminders

Parking on campus is limited. If you plan to bring a charter bus to campus, you will need to reserve a bus parking spot by using the Park-by-Plate code shared in your confirmation for $25
The tour is approximately one-hour long, so please arrive dressed comfortably.
In order to help UCI achieve its zero waste goal, please encourage your students to bring their own reusable water bottles; water refills are available for free at any on-campus restaurant and hydration station
Tours are not offered during major holidays, weekends, over the summer, and during parts of January, April, June, September, and December.
Tours are given rain or shine so please plan accordingly
