Transfer Prep EID Academy

The UCI Transfer Prep Early Identification (EID) Academy is designed to increase the number of first generation, low-income, students from underrepresented backgrounds that apply and transfer to four-year institutions.

Through a series of workshops, individual coaching sessions, and other intentionally designed activities, the EID Academy will provide participants the exposure and skills necessary to successfully apply and transfer to a four-year institution.  Using a three-pillar approach which includes tailored one-on-one sessions, transfer knowledge enrichment, and participation in the Transfer Prep Summer Academy (UCI TPSA) participants of the EID Academy will be able to successfully navigate the transfer process.

To be eligible for the EID Academy, participants must be:
    1. In their first year at a California Community College
    2. Intend to apply for Fall 2022 transfer
    3. Must be open/applying to at least one UC campus
Selected participants will be invited to a 20-minute virtual interview in the month of February 2021. Final selected candidates will be notified in March 2021.
