Community College partners can now request information for students from their respective institution. Due to FERPA regulations, we are only able to provide information to students who have authorized the release of their information.

Note: When emailing multiple applicants, applicant emails must be sent individually, or applicant emails must be entered on the BCC line (blind carbon copy). This way, email addresses are not disclosed to all recipients of the email. Exposing someone's email to others is a SERIOUS breach of privacy, and furthermore, a possible violation of UC policy and state law; plus, it puts them at risk for receiving unwanted spam and virus emails.

Privacy Law for University Applications

All information about an applicant is private and may not be shared with any one or organization without explicit permission from the applicant. This includes parents, guardians, spouses, school counselors, student organizations, etc.

Privacy laws for applicants differ from privacy laws for enrolled students.
